MALEV CEASES OPERATIONS

As of Friday early morning, Hungarian flag carrier Malev ceased operations due to financial difficulties. Whether it will be reinstated or no remains unclear so is their planned Budapest-Rhodes summer route. (Malev 2012 summer)





RYANAIR ADDS BUDAPEST-RHODES ROUTE
Following Malev's shut down news, Ryanair announced that in co-operation with Hungarian authorities will initially base 4 aircrafts in Budapest in 2 weeks times and add 31 new routes.
One of these new routes intends replacing Malev's Budapest-Rhodes service and will commence on April with no further details yet available. We will upadate Ryanair summer schedule whenever more info becomes available.

AEGEAN INTRODUCES RHODES-MOSCOW ROUTE

It was know for a while now that Aegean planned a direct Rhodes-Moscow route and finally it was uploaded on their booking engine a couple of days ago. Service for Domodedovo airport will be weekly (Sundays) with flights commencing on 22 April and concluding on 21 October.
